Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Member") and Dangi Vivah ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), the operator of dangivivah.com. By accessing, registering on, or using our matrimonial platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.

These Terms are governed by and subject to the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and all other applicable Indian statutes. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

To register and use Dangi Vivah, you must meet all of the following criteria:

• Age: You must be at least 18 years of age (21 years for male users, as per the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, and 18 years for female users).
• Samaj: You must belong to the Dangi community / Dangi Samaj, or be registering on behalf of a family member who belongs to the Dangi community.
• Marital Intent: You must be using this platform with a genuine intent to find a suitable life partner for matrimonial purposes.
• Legal Capacity: You must be legally competent to enter into a binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
• Single / Eligible: You must be unmarried, widowed, or legally divorced. Providing false information about your marital status is a violation of these Terms and may be an offence under applicable law.
• Indian Residency / NRI: Our services are primarily designed for Indian residents and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) of Dangi origin.

3. Account Registration & Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when creating your profile. Providing false information constitutes a breach of these Terms.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access at info.dangivivah@gmail.com.
• A member may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts is a violation of these Terms.
• You agree that all activities and communications conducted through your account are your sole responsibility.

4. Matrimonial Purpose Only

Dangi Vivah is a matrimonial platform, not a dating, social networking, or friendship site. The platform shall be used exclusively for the purpose of finding a suitable life partner within the Dangi Samaj Samaj.

The following are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or termination, and may be reported to law enforcement authorities:

6. Profile Content & Accuracy

• You are solely responsible for all content you post, including photographs, bio, and personal details.
• Profile photographs must be recent, clear, and of yourself only. Photographs must be decent and appropriate.
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise inappropriate, without prior notice.
• By uploading content, you grant Dangi Vivah a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and store such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, trademarks, software, and code on the Dangi Vivah platform are the exclusive property of Dangi Vivah and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999 of India. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of our content without express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Dangi Vivah, its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the preceding twelve (12) months (which, for free services, shall be zero).

10. Account Termination & Suspension

• You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Your data will be erased within 90 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
• We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice in cases of serious violations.
• We may also terminate accounts that have been inactive for 24 consecutive months, with prior email notice.

• Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
• Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India.
• Amicable Resolution: We encourage you to first contact our Grievance Officer to attempt an amicable resolution before initiating legal proceedings.
• Consumer Disputes: Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including your right to approach a Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a prominent on-platform notice at least 15 days before the revised Terms take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date shall constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
